Le boeuf Highland / Highland cattle

Les premiers boeufs Highland ont été importés d'Angleterre au Canada dans les années 1880 / Highland cattle were first imported into Canada from Scotland in the 1880's.

Ces boeufs sont si differents que les notres qui sont adaptes a notre climat chaud (sans poil!). Belle image, tres douce.

@Sidonie: Merci beaucoup Sidonie :o) Nous avons aussi des boeufs qui ont le poil ras de race, Holstein par exemple. Cette race est d'origine d'Écosse.
